6th Grade Camp

 

1. Go to your Power School Portal here: https://sycamore.powerschool.com/public/home.html  and complete the permission slip for the event. The permission slip is under the Forms section in your Parent Portal.

          Permission slips are due in Power School by September 13 - No exceptions! 

  • Sycamore has to meet deadlines for final payments & student groups submitted to Camp Staff

  • Packing lists will be sent out on September 16th, 2024

  • Health Waivers (paper copies) are due by September 20th, 2024

  • Medication Forms due to Ms. Laura by September 20

2.  Here is a general schedule for departure and arrival times from the campus~

  • Departure from school (on 10/16): 10:15AM

  • Arrival back to school (on 10/18): 3:00PM

  • Students who do not attend camp are expected to attend school or sign up for Independent Study

  • Medications - BOTH prescription and Over the Counter medicines need to have appropriate forms filled out and returned prior to camp

  • First Aid - provided by Camp Staff and SASCA staff as needed

  • Camp does not take place without parent chaperones!

  • Chaperones must be cleared volunteers

3. If you want to chaperone this event you must be a CLEARED* volunteer. Only once you are CLEARED, you may contact: info@sycamoreacademycharter.org no later than 4 PM on September 20 to be considered. Please put "RAWHIDE RANCH CHAPERONE" in the subject line. If we have more volunteers than the number we are permitted to take, we will have a lottery to determine who will attend.

 

For anyone getting cleared to volunteer for camp, you must submit your complete packet in one email or drop-off. Here are the required elements:

1)  Sycamore Volunteer Form

2)  Mandated Reporter Training

3)  Sexual Harassment Prevention

4)  Tb Test

5)  Live Scan*

 

OTHER INFORMATION

Meals will be provided for students. 

We will be booking buses for transportation.
